Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of leadership experience.
• 5+ years in manufacturing industry.
• Strong leadership demonstrated in team or project settings.
• Ability to create and execute strategic IT/plants plans.
• Experience managing and forecasting budgets.
• Excellent communication and time management; handles multiple priorities.
• Proven project management skills and agile adaptability.
• Onsite requirement: 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Align IT processes to Corning-wide business processes.
• Engage with local business/plant stakeholders and IMS.
• Set and manage the plant IMS budget.
• Deliver projects on time, scope, and budget with effective resource management.
• Maintain operating level with defined metrics and support.
• Support the IT shared service delivery model.
• Collaborate with Division & Regional IT Managers to standardize programs.
• Interface with plant customers to ensure IT services support plant objectives.
• Educate plant customers on required IT programs and processes.
• Establish a plant presence on the shop floor for ongoing IT pulse.
• Lead the organization in applying performance excellence to IT services.
• Manage plant IT project portfolio and align with organizational goals.
• Work with plant staff to integrate IT with day-to-day operations.
