Job summary

Guy M Turner in Greensboro, NC seeks an experienced working foreman to lead a rigging and machinery-installation crew. On-site daily, you will run the crew, load, lift, move, and set heavy equipment at local and regional sites.

Travel to different customer sites is required for day-work, with occasional overnight stays. You will ensure safe operations, read lift plans, and coordinate with customers while maintaining schedules.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years rigging, machinery moving, or machinery installation experience.
• 2+ years leading a crew or foreman in rigging, machinery moving or machinery installation is required
• Able to read simple drawings and lift plans.
• Willing to travel, work overtime, and weekends when needed.
• Requires successful background, MVR and drug screening
• Must currently hold a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew on machinery-moving, rigging, and installation jobs
• Work hands-on with forklifts, cranes, skates, jacks, and rigging gear

Our work is primarily in the local and regional area - not the type of long-term, out-of-state travel done by large contractors. You'll travel to different customer sites as needed, mostly doing day-work and may include overnight travel stay(s) to the site.
