Job summary

General Mills is seeking a Senior HRBA for our Cedar Rapids, IA plant. You’ll partner with leaders to drive HR strategy, attract and develop talent, and lead change initiatives across production and support teams.

You will advance employee relations, workforce planning, and leadership development, becoming a trusted advisor while fostering a positive culture that supports plant performance and retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Labor Relations, or related field.
• 2+ years HR/employee relations experience.
• Experience leading strategic initiatives and driving change.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational and prioritization skills with customer service focus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint; willingness to learn more.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR leadership to the Cedar Rapids Plant across Biz units.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to drive sustainable change.
• Develop recruitment, onboarding, and training strategies for production and support teams.
• Lead employee relations, workforce planning, succession planning, and staffing initiatives.
• Collaborate with Recruiting, Diversity & Inclusion, and Change Management.
• Coach leaders and act as a trusted advisor to drive performance.
• Support onboarding, training, and development of floor and operations teams.
• Develop strategy with HR Manager and leadership for execution.
