Job summary

MacLean Power Systems (MPS) is seeking an HR Manager for its Stockton, CA plant to oversee HR policies, recruitment, onboarding, training, safety, and labor relations. The role requires strong knowledge of labor laws and strategic HR planning, with the ability to guide management on HR programs and compliance.

You will maintain personnel records, generate HR analytics, and ensure adherence to 5S and safety standards while supporting a 90-employee manufacturing facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
• 8 years of HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Lead and direct the work of other employees with full authority for personnel decisions.
• Experience in strategic HR planning and implementing new programs and policies.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
• Experience in employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR policies and programs including recruitment, onboarding, training, and labor relations.
• Advise management on HR programs and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
• Prepare reports on turnover, headcount, and other HR metrics.
• Ensure 5S and safety/quality policies are followed.
