MacLean Power Systems (MPS) seeks an HR Manager to deliver comprehensive HR support to its Stockton, CA manufacturing facility. The role focuses on recruitment and retention, policy administration, labor relations, safety, and compliance with employment laws.

You will partner with plant leadership to implement programs, maintain records, and report on HR metrics, while upholding MPS’s commitment to diversity, safety, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 8+ years HR experience in manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Lead and direct work of others with full authority for personnel decisions.
• Strategic planning and implementation of new HR programs/policies.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
• Experience in employee relations, investigations, and conflict resolution.
• Ability to work independently with plant leadership and corporate HR.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Oversee administration of HR policies and programs, including recruitment/onboarding, health and safety, training, labor relations, and compensation/benefits planning.
• Handle difficult HR duties such as staffing shortages, disputes, terminations, and disciplinary actions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (EEO, FMLA, FLSA).
• Advise management on HR programs and compliance.
• Communicate HR policy changes to employees and candidates.
• Create and modify reports for senior management on turnover, absenteeism, headcount, etc.
