Job summary

Amcor in Aurora, Ohio is seeking a Plant Human Resources Manager to lead all HR functions at the facility and align people practices with plant goals and corporate standards.

You will partner with the Plant Manager and department leaders to drive recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, compensation, safety, and policy administration, while promoting a positive employee experience and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Bachelor’s degree required; PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
• Understanding of company policies, procedures, and operations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Strong decision-making and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Calm under pressure and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Ownership mindset with focus on ISO processes and continuous improvement.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently.

Responsibilities

• Lead all HR functions at the Aurora, OH facility aligned with plant goals.
• Partner with Plant Manager and leaders to drive recruiting and onboarding.
• Oversee performance management, compensation, and benefits programs.
• Ensure policy administration and government liaison as required.
• Support safety programs and regulatory training.
• Coordinate HR operations, budgeting, and corporate HR initiatives.
