Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings is hiring an on-site Human Resources Generalist for the Barry, IL facility. You will partner with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and Benefits to ensure accurate HR administration and policy compliance while maintaining employee relations and engagement across the plant.

The role emphasizes performance management, safety culture, and interaction with leadership to drive continuous improvement in a cannabis cultivation and production environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of progressive HR experience.
• Working knowledge of EEO, ADA, FMLA, and Workers Compensation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Initiative and drive to accomplish goals and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Manage HR administrative processes related to timekeeping, payroll, leave, injury reporting, benefits, HRIS data entry and maintenance.
• Manage employee relations issues and engagement, resolve concerns effectively.
• Provide visible HR presence at the plant and guide performance management and progressive discipline.
