Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings (AWH) seeks an HR Generalist to support daily HR operations at our Barry, IL cultivation and production facility. You will work on hiring with Talent Acquisition, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and policy enforcement to maintain compliant, engaged teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on HR support in a manufacturing environment, with focus on employee relations, performance management, and regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local laws.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience.
• Knowledge of EEO, ADA, FMLA, and Workers' Compensation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a plant setting.
• Ability to handle employee relations with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on hiring and interviewing staff.
• Collaborate with Payroll on administering pay and leave.
• Maintain employment records and ensure policy compliance.
• Provide guidance on performance management at the location.
• Support safety culture and regulatory compliance.
