Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labor Relations or another related field.
• 3-5 years of human resource experience.
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred; problem-solving automated timekeeping systems and orientation of new associates required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with all levels of the organization; customer orientation.
• May require occasional travel to other facilities and plants for meetings and/or company business.

Responsibilities

• Administer the company approved new hire orientation program and establish relationships with management and associates.
• Coaches and counsels supervisors to improve absenteeism, turnover and plant efficiencies.
• Ensure consistent policy application and provide training on policies and procedures.
• Provide effective, timely, informative new hire orientation utilizing approved formats and materials.
• First point of contact for payroll, benefits and other HR related questions.
