Job summary

Orbia Connectivity Solutions Dura-Line is seeking a People Business Partner to support our Elyria, OH Tape manufacturing plant. You will provide HR guidance, analyze metrics, resolve employee relations issues, and partner with plant leadership to improve relationships, morale, and productivity.

You will handle recruiting support for hourly roles, onboarding, and training coordination, while ensuring compliance with policies and laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred.
• SHRM-CP or equivalent credential is a plus.
• 5–8 years of experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
• Working knowledge of compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and employment laws.
• Proficient with MS Office, CRM, and ATS.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues with investigations as needed.
• Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management.
• Facilitate onboarding for new hires and conduct exit interviews; support hourly recruitment onsite.
• Use HR metrics to drive initiatives improving employee experience and plant culture.
• Provide site policy guidance and training for compliance.
• Identify training needs and coordinate employee training programs.
• Support HR projects such as onboarding optimization and career pathing.
• Prepare data reports for management and support senior partners with data analysis.
