Job Summary: The Plant Health Care Team are specialists dedicated to inspecting plant material, identifying problems, and ethically treating or preventing issues faced by trees and shrubs. They are our team of "detectives," viewing each plant disease or infestation as a puzzle they are eager to solve. This role offers the opportunity to work outdoors and visit beautiful properties in your community.

Compensation: This position pays $20-$25/hr, depending on experience, plus benefits, PTO, and 401(k).

The Plant Health Care Team focuses on ensuring the health and well-being of trees and shrubs on clients' landscapes within a specific territory. Responsibilities include monitoring, diagnosing, and treating pest and disease infestations, selecting appropriate treatments, and interacting with clients by providing diagnostic reports and ensuring customer satisfaction.

What a day is like:

Monitoring and diagnosing plant health issues, applying treatments, educating clients, and ensuring their satisfaction.

What kind of person are we looking for:

• A desire to grow, problem solve, and improve processes.
• A degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass, or similar experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Excellent communication skills.

Willingness to learn:

• Tree and plant identification.
• Proper and safe use of spray and application equipment.

Essential requirements:

• Willingness to complete required training and obtain necessary certifications and licenses.
• Desire to work outdoors.
• Valid driver's license.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
