Job Summary

The Plant Health Care Team are specialists dedicated to inspecting plant material, identifying problems, and ethically treating or preventing issues faced by trees and shrubs. They are our team of "detectives," viewing each plant disease or infestation as a puzzle they are eager to solve. This role offers the opportunity to work outdoors and visit beautiful properties in your community.

Compensation and Benefits

This position pays $24-28/hr depending on years of experience. We also offer benefits and a 401K plan.

The Plant Health Care Team focus on ensuring the health and well-being of trees and shrubs on clients' landscapes within a specific territory. Responsibilities include monitoring, diagnosing, and treating pest and disease infestations, selecting appropriate treatments, interacting with clients, providing written diagnostic reports, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

What We Are Looking For
  • A desire to grow, problem solve, and improve processes
  • A degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass, or comparable experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Willingness to learn tree and plant identification, and safe application techniques
Essential Requirements
  • Willingness to complete required training for certifications and licenses
  • Desire to work outdoors
  • Valid driver's license
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
