Job summary

SAVATREE is seeking a Part-Time Plant Health Care Specialist to inspect and care for trees and shrubs on client properties in your community. This role involves diagnosing conditions, applying treatments, and communicating findings with customers.

You’ll work outdoors in a territory-based position, visiting various properties and presenting diagnostic information to clients. Training and certifications are provided, with health benefits, PTO, and a 401(k) plan offered.

Qualifications

• A degree in arboriculture or related plant sciences is preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent listening and both verbal and written communication to serve clients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and diagnose health of trees and shrubs within client landscapes.
• Select and apply the most appropriate treatments for pests and diseases.
• Prepare diagnostic reports for clients and educate them on conditions and care.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service quality.

Education

Degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turf-grass or related field
