Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Plant Health Care Specialist to monitor, diagnose, and treat tree and shrub health issues within a designated territory. Daily duties include inspecting plants, applying treatments, preparing diagnostic reports, operating spray equipment, and independently ensuring customer satisfaction.

The role suits someone who loves problem-solving, outdoor work, and environmental preservation, with a background in related environmental sciences and a driver’s license for service routes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turfgrass — or related experience preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills to engage with clients effectively.
• Commitment to completing required training and obtaining necessary certifications and licenses.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting plant material and identifying pests, diseases, or other concerns.
• Selecting and applying the most appropriate treatments to promote plant health.
• Preparing written diagnostic reports and educating clients about their landscape.
• Operating spray and application equipment safely and effectively.
• Working independently to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Education
