Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Plant Health Care Technician to inspect trees and shrubs, diagnose problems, and ethically treat or prevent issues on client landscapes. This role offers outdoor work across communities and the chance to visit beautiful properties.

You will monitor landscapes in your territory, select appropriate treatments, prepare diagnostic reports for clients, and strive for excellent customer satisfaction while staying safe and compliant with certifications.

Qualifications

• Degree in Arboriculture, Urban Forestry, Horticulture, Plant Science, Plant Pathology, Environmental Sciences, Landscape Management, Turf-grass, or similar experience.
• Tree/plant identification experience.
• Knowledge of safely and properly using spray and application equipment.
• Ability to work autonomously and independently.
• Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills to understand and meet client needs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect plant material for problems and ethically treat or prevent issues on client properties.
• Monitor, diagnose, and treat pest and disease infestations in a defined territory.
• Educate clients with written diagnostic reports detailing landscape conditions.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction and service quality.
