Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, plant sciences, biological sciences, botany, or related field; at least one year of molecular biology, plant care, and greenhouse experience.
• Previous experience conducting laboratory and field work.
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in teams with students, research associates, and the faculty supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory- and field-based scientific research following established protocols.
• Organize and manage data; give presentations for scientific and lay audiences.
• Assist in preparing scientific publications; coordinate with Postdoctoral Fellow, Research Associate and faculty supervisors.
