Job summary

Confidential Careers seeks a General Manager to oversee all aspects of a manufacturing facility, driving profitability and performance. You will lead plant operations, optimize safety, quality, and production efficiency, and ensure on-time delivery while maintaining customer satisfaction.

The role requires extensive leadership in manufacturing, HDPE processing knowledge, and compliance with FDA-regulated environments and ISO quality systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent.
• 15+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, with 5+ years in facility leadership.
• HDPE plastics processing knowledge (extrusion, injection molding, blow molding).
• FDA-regulated cleanroom environment experience.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead Facility Operations: Oversee all aspects of facility operations, including manufacturing, purchasing, scheduling, warehousing, shipping/receiving, quality, and customer service.
• Drive Financial Performance: Develop and manage annual budgets, profitability and EBITDA targets, working capital, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Support Growth & Continuous Improvement: Partner with sales to execute business strategies and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, processes, and performance.
• Lead People & Safety: Oversee hiring, training, employee development, and performance while fostering a strong culture of safety and accountability.
• Ensure Operational Excellence: Enforce company policies and standards while overseeing equipment maintenance, technical operations, reporting, and compliance with quality and production goals.
