Job summary

Cavco Industries, Inc. Woodburn plant seeks an experienced General Manager to oversee plant operations, safety and quality, and fiscal performance. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, drive strategic initiatives, and align daily actions with the company’s values and objectives.

You will manage KPIs, capital planning, and regulatory compliance while developing leaders and ensuring customer satisfaction through superior product quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in manufactured housing or related industry.
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and support multiple teams in consistently achieving production goals.

Responsibilities

• Overall leadership, performance and compliance of the plant.
• Safeguard assets and maintain effective internal controls.
• Ensure plant produces high-quality homes meeting quality standards.
• Collaborate on annual business planning and ensure operations align with objectives.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with local, state and federal laws.
• Lead, develop and coach teams aligned with core values.
• Build strong customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate with the Regional VP and Compliance on legal matters.
• Monitor monthly budget vs actuals and drive corrective actions.
• Drive process improvements across management areas.
• Manage plant P&L and optimize product mix, pricing and profitability.
• Plan capital expenditures and support investment justification.
