Smurfit Westrock is seeking a General Manager for the corrugated container facility in Bradenton, FL. You will own performance and profitability, focusing on safety, quality, cost, and productivity, with leadership over a regional growth strategy.

The role requires a track record of managing large-scale packaging operations, building high-functioning teams, and delivering strategic initiatives that enhance local and regional sales and efficiency.

Qualifications

7+ years of progressive management experience in a corrugated packaging facility.
Minimum of 5 years in operations/production management.
Proven budget and financial management experience.
Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams through change.
Strong strategic planning and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain plant profitability while meeting safety and quality requirements.
Develop and implement business plans aligned with company goals.
Build and lead a high-performing team and drive change initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement to achieve efficiency and cost targets.
Collaborate with commercial/sales to identify growth opportunities.
Oversee facility production to meet short- and long-term objectives.
Foster alliances across Business Units, Sales, Logistics, Production, Safety and Quality.
