Job summary

Strategic Systems Inc seeks a General Manager to lead a high-volume manufacturing facility, driving operational excellence, financial performance, and top-tier customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the VP of Operations, you will oversee production, quality, safety, maintenance, and logistics, present results to the executive team, and steer strategic projects that improve profitability and employee engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Five or more years of senior leadership experience in manufacturing or high-volume production.
  • Demonstrated success managing operations, financial performance, customer relationships, and teams.
  • Experience presenting to C-suite executives and senior customer stakeholders.
  • Strong project-management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven executive presence and ability to build credibility across all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, presentation software, and business reporting systems.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor KPIs and improve safety, quality, service, productivity, and profitability.
  • Develop facility leadership and promote accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality, transportation, and industry regulations.

Job description

The General Manager is responsible for the operational, financial, and customer-facing performance of a high-volume manufacturing facility.
