Job summary

System One is seeking a Plant Analyst to serve as a key financial partner to plant leadership, delivering reporting, forecasting, variance analysis, and actionable insights to improve operational and financial performance.

The role connects production drivers with financial results and supports cost control and strategic decision-making across the plant. Ideal candidates will bring 4+ years of finance/FP&A experience in a manufacturing setting and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 4+ years of finance/FP&A experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong financial modeling and operational analysis skills.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with plant leadership to translate operational performance into financial targets, forecasts and recommendations.
• Develop plant budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial models based on production and operational drivers.
• Perform detailed variance analysis across labor, materials, overhead, productivity, and other plant costs.
• Identify root causes, risks, opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyze production and operational data to improve cost visibility and financial performance.
• Prepare and present financial and operational performance reports to plant and Finance leadership.
• Support standardization and improvement of plant financial metrics, reporting, and processes.
• Partner cross-functionally on continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
