Qualifications

• 3+ years of operational leadership in manufacturing or similar industries.

• Ability to read budgets, plans, and blueprints; excellent communication.

Wallstreet Sand Co. is the premier frac sand producer in West Texas, setting the standard for reliability, performance, and operational excellence across wet and dry sand operations...and we are GROWING! We need reliable and experienced Plant Foremen to move our operations forward.

The Plant Foreman supervises daily production, manages crew scheduling, leads supervisors and employees, and ensures the plant meets safety and output goals. This position is hands-on. A successful leader in this role will spend more time out in the plant with the crews than inside the office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily plant operations and employees, assign daily tasks, and coordinate shift rotations.
• Implement company policies and procedures, as well as enforce MSHA and OSHA rules and regulations.
• Monitor dry and wet plant equipment such as conveyors, screens and washers to hit targets.
• Report and troubleshoot mechanical failures, track equipment downtime, and schedule routine repairs in collaboration with the maintenance department.
• Manage the budget within limits and understand the importance of P&L.
• Safely operate company equipment, tooling and vehicles as necessary.
• Oversee and record site inspections, addressing areas of concerns in a timely manner.
• Conduct risk assessments and deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and employee meetings.
• Ensure site personnel have job relevant training and enforce proper PPE requirements for all employees.
• Coach, counsel and discipline employees as needed to uphold the standards and integrity of the operation.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of operational leadership experience in similar industries, including manufacturing
• Strong understanding of OSHA and MSHA
• Ability to read and understand budgets, strategic plans, and blueprints
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of employees and ownership
• Dependable and punctual
• Strong work ethic and sense of urgency
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds
• Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook with the aptitude to learn new applications and systems
• Willing to work 12 hour shifts on a 7 days on and 7 days off rotation.
