Job summary

Confidential Recruiting Partners seeks an experienced Food Safety & Quality Assurance Manager to lead plant-level FSQA programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, audits, and sanitation across the facility.

The ideal candidate will have strong HACCP knowledge, GMPs, environmental monitoring, and proven cross-functional leadership in manufacturing. Onsite role in Alabama with limited travel and no visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience conducting audits and CAPA programs.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years in food processing or quality assurance.
• Manufacturing or food production leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver food safety and quality training programs.
• Lead and manage the FSQA department at the facility.
• Lead audits with customers, regulators, and third parties.
• Monitor product quality, specifications, and hold/release processes.
• Analyze quality trends and report to leadership.
• Support new product launches and process improvements.
• Develop and continuously improve food safety and quality programs.
• Oversee sanitation verification and compliance with standards.
• Serve as main contact for regulatory agencies and auditors.
• Lead FSQA personnel development and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee HACCP plans, GMPs, SSOPs and environmental monitoring.
• Lead investigations, root cause analysis, CAPA actions.
