Job summary

McCain Foods is seeking a Food Safety and Quality Manager in Appleton, WI. This manager will provide leadership to establish food safety quality levels, supervise quality management systems, and ensure compliance with both regional and global policies. The ideal candidate has a B.S. in a relevant scientific field, at least 5-7 years of experience in quality management, and strong knowledge of HACCP and food safety principles. The position offers a compensation range of $97,500 to $130,000 annually plus bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of quality management experience, preferably in food manufacturing or consumer goods industry.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of food safety/HACCP, GMPs, allergen controls, sanitary design/controls, pest control.
• Knowledge of quality systems and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and support to ensure compliance to McCain’s requirements.
• Utilize tools such as auditing, process evaluation, trend analysis to achieve continuous improvement.
• Lead quality strategy deployment at the site, delivering key metrics/KPI.
