Job summary

Talent Harbor is seeking an Operations Supervisor / Superintendent in Sacramento, CA. The role is 100% on-site and leads all back-office operations for a major metal fabrication and distribution facility.

You will own the plant floor, drive production, supervise 10–20 hourly workers, and push Lean/5S improvements to boost throughput and quality. This is a fast-track leadership role with clear advancement paths.

Qualifications

• Frontline manufacturing leadership experience on an industrial floor.
• Experience managing 10+ direct reports with accountability.
• Comfort operating and troubleshooting production equipment.
• Basic computer literacy and ERP data entry skills.
• Ambition for rapid promotion into higher site leadership.
• Stable employment history and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Direct floor production ownership to meet daily schedules.
• Resolve equipment delays and staffing call-outs in real time.
• Direct back-office logistics and material receiving processes.
• Lead a 10–20 person hourly crew and mentor them daily.
• Implement Lean/5S to reduce bottlenecks and waste.
