Job summary

Dauch Corporation seeks a Plant Finance Manager for its North Vernon, IN facility. You will manage financial reporting, control, and compliance for the plant, ensuring accurate GAAP-based statements and coordination with auditors.

Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, inventory accuracy, and treasury management, with leadership of the accounting staff and collaboration with program management on Agile tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Advanced degree and/or accounting certifications preferred.
• 5+ years progressive leadership experience.
• Knowledgeable in manufacturing, business, accounting and finance concepts, ERP systems.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate financial control plans for the facility, including budgets, forecasts, AR, cost standards, saving opportunities, and capital investments.
• Compare performance against budget; provide reports to plant manager and group controller.
• Lead cost studies, analyses, and business evaluations to drive cost reductions and profit improvements.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
• Prepare ledgers, plant and corporate reports, and supporting detail across the organization.
• Manage accurate accounting classification of expenditures and inventory controls.
• Interface with auditors and tax authorities; oversee local tax and treasury management.
• Support IPM and Agile tasks with Program Management Team.
