Job summary

Trew is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Plant Financial Analyst to join our Mason, OH site. You will own end-to-end material variance analysis, decompose variances, and work with operations, sourcing, and engineering to close gaps. You will also own plant operating expense analysis and drive cost improvements across departments and cost centers.

You will develop standard costing insights, maintain recurring reporting, and build Power BI dashboards from Synapse/ERP data to support plant leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive manufacturing finance experience with plant-level analysis ownership.
• Strong working knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite or Oracle preferred.
• Advanced Excel and data modeling; Power BI experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own material variance analysis end to end for assigned sites, decomposing variances and tracing root causes.
• Analyze plant operating expenses by department and cost center, including labor, overhead, and other spend.
• Maintain and improve recurring variance reporting with commentary and ownership.
• Build plant dashboards and self-service reporting in Power BI, sourced from ERP data.
• Support annual budget, rolling forecast, and capital expenditure analyses.
• Explain financial results clearly to non-financial stakeholders and partner with operations to drive improvements.
