Job summary

Zohorecruit seeks a Senior Accountant for its Seattle plant to anchor day-to-day operational accounting, ensure data integrity, and provide critical financial visibility for facility efficiency.

You will lead monthly closes, support budgeting, analyze variances, and drive cost-saving initiatives across BOM, inventory, and overheads, while ensuring strict GAAP compliance and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures, overhead allocation, standard costing, and variance analysis.
• Proficient in translating data into structured projections and financial commentary.
• Experience with physical inventory reconciliation, cycle counting, and obsolescence tracking.
• ERP/system literacy for order entry, billing, AP, and financial transmissions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly close process for the facility and prepare plant financial statements.
• Support annual budgeting and long-range financial models with plant management.
• Analyze variances and provide actionable commentary to leadership.
• Perform CapEx analyses and ad hoc financial investigations as directed.
• Review plant performance metrics to highlight cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate BOM, labor routings, and price codes to reflect factory costs.
