Job summary

Picoma Industries in Cambridge, OH, is seeking a Finance Intern to gain hands-on exposure to plant finance operations within a manufacturing environment. You will support reporting, data validation, and financial analysis that drive cost control and operational performance.

Under the guidance of plant finance leadership, you will work on dashboards, variance analysis, and month-end close activities. This is a summer internship with potential full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Strong interest in manufacturing finance or operational finance.
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data organization).
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with large datasets.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Align, validate, and consolidate plant financial data from multiple reporting sources.
• Support weekly and monthly financial reporting processes.
• Assist with cost analysis, variance reporting, and performance tracking.
• Help develop dashboards and reporting tools to improve financial visibility.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, and plant leadership to understand cost drivers.
• Participate in month-end close activities and financial review meetings.
• Identify opportunities to improve data accuracy and reporting efficiency.
• Present findings and recommendations to plant finance leadership.
