Job summary

Picoma Industries in Cambridge, OH, is seeking a Finance Intern to gain hands-on exposure to plant finance operations within a manufacturing environment. You will support reporting, data validation, and financial analysis that drive cost control and operational performance.

Under the guidance of plant finance leadership, you will work on dashboards, variance analysis, and month-end close activities. This is a summer internship with potential full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• Strong interest in manufacturing finance or operational finance.
• Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data organization).
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with large datasets.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.

About the Role

As a Finance Intern at Picoma Industries in Cambridge, OH, you will gain hands‑on exposure to plant finance operations from the ground up. This role sits directly within our manufacturing environment and works closely with our manager, operations staff, and VP of Finance, providing visibility into how financial strategy connects to daily plant operations. You will support reporting, data validation, and financial analysis initiatives that help drive operational performance, cost control, and decision‑making across the facility. This is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in corporate finance, accounting, cost analysis, or manufacturing finance to see how financial principles are applied in a real production setting. Upon graduation, this internship may open up full‑time Finance opportunities across the organization. The official Zekelman internship program runs from May 24, 2027, through August 13, 2027.

What You’ll Do
