Job summary

Tenneco Inc. seeks a Plant Controller to lead the plant finance team in Seward, NE. You will oversee financial analysis, budgeting, standard costing, and reporting, partnering with plant leadership to drive performance and ownership of financial targets.

You will drive continuous improvement, ensure compliance with US GAAP, and develop the finance team to deliver accurate insights and control across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years leading finance objectives in a manufacturing environment.
• Strategic vision and communication related to finance objectives.
• Proven experience pursuing operational excellence within Finance.
• Ownership and proactive approach for driving results.

Responsibilities

• As a member of the plant management team, drive Finance KPIs and coordinate reporting, monitoring and adjustments.
• Lead finance objectives in collaboration with plant leadership and regional finance teams.
• Develop financial plans and set policy for the plant.
• Maintain GAAP records and ensure compliance with local requirements.
• Analyze profitability and operational metrics per Tenneco standards.
• Prepare and monitor the plant’s budget and forecasts, including cash management and working capital.
• Implement financial controls to safeguard assets and optimize operations.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance finance team efficiency.
