Job summary

Danfoss Plant Controller position in Freeport, IL, is a hands-on finance leadership role reporting to the plant leadership team. You will direct plant accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls, partnering with operations and global stakeholders to drive performance and sustainable growth.

The role requires a mid-senior level background in manufacturing finance, CPA/CMA is a plus, and a proven ability to influence decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting/finance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant finance and controlling activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Provide financial analysis and business insights to support operational decisions.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and HR to drive performance.
• Own standard costing, inventory valuation, and capital expenditure controls.
• Communicate financial and operational performance metrics to stakeholders.
