Job summary

American Power Innovations, a $40M manufacturer of electrical equipment, is seeking a Facilities & Equipment Maintenance Technician in Tulsa, OK. The role involves maintaining mechanical, electrical, and other building systems, with a 6:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule and overtime as needed. Benefits include health insurance, 401(k), and paid holidays.

Relocation to Tulsa is required. Ideal candidates have 3+ years of experience, a GED or high school diploma, and the ability to lift 50 lbs, climb

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of relevant experience or training.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work outside in all weather.
• Experience with hydraulic and diesel machinery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct interior walls, metal framing, hanging and finishing drywall.
• Paints structures, drywall and plaster.
• Evaluate, repair and maintain plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems.
• Maintain electrical systems and fixtures.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and service on machines.
• Repair and maintain shop machinery and equipment including overhead cranes, shears, welders, and forklifts.
• Maintain safety systems within the structure.
• Prioritize work orders addressing health and safety risks first.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
