Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Clackamas, OR is seeking a Plant Equipment Maintenance Technician - Electro-Mechanical to keep high-capacity recycling operations running safely and efficiently.

You will perform PMs on conveyors and servo motors, tackle mechanical, electrical, welding tasks, and read schematics to locate faults. This is a full-time, direct-hire role with strong benefits and a safety-first culture.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years verifiable industrial mechanics, welding, and hydraulics experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs and inspections on conveyors, servo motors, and supporting plant equipment.
• Tackle repairs using mechanical, electrical, welding, and light carpentry skills.
• Operate AC/DC welders, cutting tools, forklifts; read manuals/schematics to locate faults.
• Complete maintenance documentation and communicate with the team clearly.

Plant Equipment Maintenance Technician - Electro-Mechanical

Where: Clackamas, OR | Type: Full-Time, Direct-Hire | Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 10:00 PM-6:30 AM | Compensation: $28-$32 per hour DOE

Your Day-to-Day

Execute PMs and inspections on conveyors, servo motor systems, and supporting plant equipment. Tackle repairs using mechanical skills, basic electrical work, welding, and light carpentry. Operate AC/DC welders, oxygen/acetylene cutting tools, forklifts, and standard shop tools safely. Diagnose and resolve issues on 120/208/240/480-volt systems; read manuals and schematics to locate faults. Complete accurate maintenance documentation and communicate clearly with team members.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Experience: 2–3 years of verifiable industrial mechanics, industrial welding, and industrial hydraulics experience.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent education, training, and hands-on experience).
• License: Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Physical & Safety Readiness

Lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly; push/pull loaded materials as needed.
Comfortably climb ladders, use catwalks, and navigate around/under/on top of equipment in a dynamic plant.
Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, basic math skills, and high attention to detail.
Read and write in English to follow safety guidance and complete work orders.
Commit to a high standard of personal and team safety.
