Job summary
DFA Dairy seeks an experienced Engineering and Maintenance Leader to oversee plant engineering, maintenance, and staff across facilities. You will drive preventive maintenance, asset reliability, and capital projects while collaborating with management to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.
The role requires an engineering degree with 8+ years in food manufacturing, including supervisory experience, and strong budgeting and regulatory compliance capabilities.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in engineering or related field; technical training acceptable.
- 8+ years in engineering/maintenance in food manufacturing with 1+ year in a management role.
- Environmental compliance, PLC programming, capital projects, and budget management experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop engineers and maintenance managers to optimize plant operations.
- Oversee preventive/predictive maintenance programs across facilities and assets.
- Direct capital projects from planning to completion within budget and schedule.
- Drive plant reliability through KPI development and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with senior management on safety, quality, and efficiency initiatives.
- Ensure regulatory and DFA GMP requirements are followed across all activities.
