Job summary

Conagra Brands in Wisconsin is seeking a Plant Technical Leader reporting to the Plant Manager. You’ll develop and implement the overall plant technical strategy with a focus on engineering projects, maintenance excellence, and stores improvement programs to support low‑loss production, vertical startup processes, and Early Management initiatives.

You’ll lead the plant engineering and maintenance teams, partner with corporate functions to achieve safety, quality, and cost goals, and provide

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in food manufacturing.
• Maintenance experience with plant utility systems, including ammonia refrigeration, nitrogen, steam, natural gas, and compressed air.
• Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM).
• Demonstrated leadership skills with cross‑functional partners.
• Experience communicating and presenting to all levels within a manufacturing plant.
• Experience using CAD software and ERP systems.
• Willingness to rotate shifts and work weekends and holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the plant technical strategy with focus on engineering projects, maintenance excellence, and stores improvement programs.
• Lead cross‑functional development of the plant capital plan in partnership with Safety, Sanitation, Quality, Environmental, Operations, Maintenance, Finance, and other corporate functions.
• Partner with the Platform Engineering Director to resource projects and provide startup management support.
• Support internal systems audits and continuous improvement activities.
• Lead the EM Pillar Team in developing long and short-term plans and goals for the Plant.
• Support project execution and technical leadership at plant and division levels.
• Participate on and lead project teams to improve safety, quality, utilization, and cost performance.
