Job summary

Amrize Building Envelope seeks experienced plant engineering and operations professionals to support and improve manufacturing across our envelope solutions network. You will contribute to safety, quality, and efficiency while driving uptime and cost optimization through systematic process improvements and capital projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
  • 2–15+ years of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, continuous improvement, or process engineering.
  • Practical knowledge of Lean manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, TPM, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
  • Strong safety-first mindset and a passion for structured problem-solving.
  • Curiosity, accountability, and drive to continuously improve plant systems and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Support or lead plant operations to meet safety, quality, production efficiency, OEE, and cost goals.
  • Design, improve, and implement manufacturing processes, reliability programs, and equipment strategies.
  • Collaborate across production, quality, maintenance, and engineering to identify opportunities for improvements, automation, and capital projects.
  • Execute or support capital planning, equipment installation, commissioning, and project management activities.
  • Apply structured problem-solving and root cause analysis to eliminate recurring issues.
  • Embed a culture of 5S, standard work, visual management, continuous improvement, and disciplined operating systems.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, safety policies, and environmental standards.

  • Supporting or leading plant operations to achieve goals in safety, quality, production efficiency, OEE, and cost optimization.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Electrical, or related), or equivalent technical experience
  • 2–15+ years of experience in manufacturing, maintenance, continuous improvement, or process engineering (we hire across levels)
