Martinez Steel LLC is seeking a Plant Engineer to oversee process management and engineering across our Fontana, Fresno, and Pittsburg shops. You will collaborate with plant managers to uphold safety standards, improve shop efficiency, and contribute to the company’s goals.

You will lead safety, quality control, and maintenance programs, analyze production data, troubleshoot equipment, and drive cost-saving improvements while coordinating cross-functional teams and planning workforce needs.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of engineering experience in construction, industrial, or manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and communication across teams.
• Experience in safety management, quality control, and plant maintenance.
• Analytical and cost-saving problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety, QC, and maintenance programs to reduce production costs.
• Collaborate with plant managers to meet production goals safely.
• Analyze weekly production data and implement improvements.
• Troubleshoot equipment and ensure smooth operations across plants.
• Coordinate with Field Ops, Detailing, and Shop Teams for project flow.
• Oversee weekly load balancing and inventory management.
• Develop staffing plans and budget forecasts with leadership.
• Travel between Fontana, Fresno, and Pittsburg shops to ensure consistency.
