Job summary

Vistra, a major energy company, seeks an engineer to support project work at our Jacksonville, TX sites. The role involves assisting in organization and occasionally leading assigned projects, preparing routine reports, and maintaining strong team relationships.

The position requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 2 years of related experience (or equivalent coursework). Overtime may be required to meet critical milestones, with travel between plants as needed.

Help track the LRP Budget for Stryker Creek and Trinidad plants

Support all engineering requests from Stryker Creek and Trinidad plants

Travel will be expected between Stryker Creek and Trinidad plants weekly

Support outage planning and execution at Stryker Creek and Trinidad plants

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Nuclear)
• 2 yrs. related job experience OR experienced gained through college degree programs/certifications
• Must be available and able to work overtime as assigned
