Job summary

Luminant Generation Company LLC in Jacksonville, Texas is seeking an engineer to work with supervision to prepare and present routine reports, support studies, and help organize projects within the engineering services group.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, or Nuclear) and about two years of related experience; overtime may be required. Occasional travel between Stryker Creek and Trinidad plants is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Nuclear).
• 2 yrs. related job experience OR experience gained through college degree programs/certifications.
• Must be available and able to work overtime as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned task with guidance from supervision
• Assemble and collate issue specific information to support studies
• Assist in organization and occasionally lead assigned projects
• Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Prepare and present routine reports
• Participate in special projects, committee assignments and routine problem - solving efforts as requested
• Help track the LRP Budget for Stryker Creek and Trinidad plants
• Support all engineering requests from Stryker Creek and Trinidad plants
• Travel will be expected between Stryker Creek and Trinidad plants weekly
• Support outage planning and execution at Stryker Creek and Trinidad plants
