Job summary

Luminant Generation Company LLC is seeking an engineer to work with supervision to prepare and present routine reports and support studies. The role requires weekly travel between Stryker Creek and Trinidad plants and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and have about 2 years of related experience. Overtime may be required to meet project goals and safety standards are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Nuclear).
• 2 years related experience or equivalent through degree programs/certifications.
• Must be available for overtime as assigned.

Job Description

Key Accountabilities

• Performs assigned task with guidance from supervision
• Assemble and collate issue specific information to support studies
• Assist in organization and occasionally lead assigned projects
• Comply with safety policy and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Prepare and present routine reports
• Participate in special projects, committee assignments and routine problem - solving efforts as requested
• Help track the LRP Budget for Stryker Creek and Trinidad plants
• Support all engineering requests from Stryker Creek and Trinidad plants
• Travel will be expected between Stryker Creek and Trinidad plants weekly
• Support outage planning and execution at Stryker Creek and Trinidad plants

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, Nuclear)
• 2 yrs. related job experience OR experienced gained through college degree programs/certifications
• Must be available and able to work overtime as assigned

Level of position will be determined by applicable skills/experience.
