Job summary

Seneca Foods Corporation in Glencoe, MN is seeking a full-time Plant Electrician to join our team. Starting wage range from $30.00 to $40.00 per hour, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K and paid time off.

Responsibilities include installing and maintaining plant equipment to meet specifications, repairing electrical wiring, PLCs, controllers and motors, controlling costs, and ensuring GMPs and safety rules are followed.

Qualifications

• 2-year vocational electrical degree and/or previous experience in 480/3 phase.
• Journeyman or master license preferred but not required.
• Good electrical mechanical repair & troubleshooting skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness & ability to work & function in a team environment.
• Attention to detail & accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Installing & maintaining plant equipment to meet specifications & regulations.
• Repair & troubleshoot electrical wiring, PLC’s, controllers, lighting controls & electrical motors in a production environment.
• Maintain cost control over equipment & supplies for budget.
• Ensure that GMP’s, safety rules & regulations are being followed & enforced.
• Other duties as assigned.
