Stimson Lumber Company in St. Maries, ID is seeking an Idaho Licensed Electrician who is team-oriented and possesses strong problem-solving skills.

You will work in a group that embraces new ideas, challenges the status quo, and continuously improves our teams’ professional skills. Responsibilities include preventive and predictive maintenance of the electrical distribution system, reading drawings and schematics, and troubleshooting equipment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years electrician maintenance experience (Idaho Electrician License preferred).
• Experience with MCCs, VFDs, conveying and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, blueprints, and codes.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and predictive maintenance of the electrical distribution system.
• Interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints, specifications, codes and documentation.
• Evaluate electrical quality and safety processes and procedures.
• Communicate with departments and vendors to ensure proper operation.
• Model and comply with safety rules and regulations.
• Install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems and machinery components.
• Identify new approaches to continuous improvement.
• Assist in designing and repairing electrical systems if PLC programming skills exist.
