Job summary

Kemps is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Electrician to support electrical maintenance across plant utilities and production systems. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical components on industrial equipment per codes and schematics. You will guide less experienced teammates and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

Shift details: 1st Shift rotating 10-hour and 8-hour weeks; overtime/holidays may be required. Pay is $42.91/hour.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Completion of a trade or technical school program preferred.
2–4 years of electrical maintenance experience, preferably in manufacturing with automation systems.

Responsibilities

Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLCs, DCS, and interlocking systems.
Install and support electrical systems for new equipment (120V, 240V, 480V three-phase).
Perform troubleshooting and repair on plant automation down to component level.
Service electrical equipment such as VFDs, relays, switches, and wiring.
Interpret schematics, blueprints, and service manuals to complete tasks.
Maintain electrical systems and perform preventive maintenance.
Assist production operators with troubleshooting and training to reduce downtime.
Use CMMS (SAP) to document maintenance activities.
