Job DescriptionJob Description

We are currently seeking a Plant Electrician /Plant Technician or Technical Maintenance Engineer!

You will strive to provide safe electrical systems for a manufacturing plant in Columbus MS.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical background. Any experience in installing and maintaining instrumentation like gauges, sensors andTemperature Measurement devices is a HUGE PLUS but not a requirement

Key Skills:

  • Technical skills in electronics, instrumentation, and process control
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
  • Strong understanding of temperature measurement principles
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Training:


You will receive top-notch training from industry veterans. Pyrometry technicians will also be involved in training on the proper use and maintenance of the equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures
  • Install various types of raceway and cable tray systems
  • Troubleshoot motorand control systems
  • Perform routinemaintenanceon electrical wiring and systems
  • Adhere to all quality and safety codes

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in electrical engineering or other related fields
  • Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals
  • Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Huge Plus

  • Experience in industries likeManufacturing, Aerospace, Power , Metal processing, and Chemical processing.
  • Experience with specialized equipment like pyrometers (infrared thermometers) and other temperature sensors to accurately measure temperatures.
  • Calibration and Maintenance: Pyrometry technicians are responsible for calibrating and maintaining the pyrometry equipment to ensure accurate readings.
  • Troubleshooting: They diagnose and troubleshoot any issues with the pyrometry equipment or the temperature measurement systems.
  • Quality Assurance: They may also be involved in quality assurance activities, ensuring that temperature control is maintained within specified tolerances.
