Enstrom Candies, Inc. in Grand Junction, CO, seeks a Facilities Maintenance Electrician to maintain the plant and manufacturing equipment, and service electrical, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems to support continuous production.

You will perform preventative maintenance, read blueprints, and document work; PLC experience is a plus but not required. The role requires reliability, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a confectionery environment.

Formación

• Proven experience as an electrician or facilities maintenance technician.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance techniques.
• Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, NEC & NFPA 70.
• Read, write and verbally communicate in English; organizational skills.
• Colorado driver's license and clean driving record; ability to work in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Install, maintain, and diagnose electrical systems and components.
• Diagnose and repair electrical circuits or components using electrical test equipment.
• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of motors, electrical panels, sensors, and automation.
• PLC and programming a plus but not required.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Understanding of DC and AC circuitry.
• Develop and maintain a Preventative Maintenance (PM) program with the goal being to minimize service needs during peak production periods.
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Perform PM's according to schedules developed and manufacturer's recommendation.
• Complete and maintain the lockout/tagout program. Assure implementation by developing a training manual and installing adequate supply stations
• Bring concerns regarding physical plant or equipment upgrades or repairs to the attention of the Production Manager; coordinate scheduling of repairs with vendors as requested by VP of Manufacturing.
• Run daily errands as needed
• At all times, serve as a professional and courteous representative of the Company when dealing with the public or co-workers
• Obtain and adequately store copies of equipment manuals, parts lists, schematics, service schedules and modification updates
• Keep accurate and up to date records of PM and repairs done on all equipment and plant systems
• Inspect on regular basis equipment and plant systems.
• Maintain adequate supply of spare parts
• Respond in a timely manner to maintenance needs
• Assure that tools are organized and kept in good condition. Monitor their use by check in / checkout procedures
• Be available to work a flexible schedule depending on maintenance/PM needs
• Sweep walks, remove snow, de-ice walkways or perform other incidental seasonal tasks.
• Shared responsibility and participation in GMPs
• Shared responsibility of maintaining HACCP compliance
• Assist in other departments as needed
