Vistra is seeking an Electrician and Instrument Technician to support gas plant operations in San Marcos, TX. The role focuses on preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring safe, reliable plant equipment operation under site management guidance.

Candidate should have 4–6 years of related experience, a high school diploma, and may need state licenses. Access to POSS/MASS exams and safety protocols will be required during onboarding.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years related experience.
• Tier 2 completion within primary skill for position performance measure.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Possession of state license as recognized by the governing body (MA, OH).
• Demonstrate computer-based skills.
• Good oral and verbal communication.
• Must be a successful candidate on POSS/MASS program when applying.

Responsabilités

• Perform operations functions and preventive/corrective maintenance on plant equipment.
• Maintain equipment at the gas plant and ensure proper operation.
• Troubleshoot, document issues, and assist in resolving problems on shift.
