Job summary

Cargill is seeking an Industrial Electrician I at our Fort Morgan, CO facility. You will perform preventive and basic corrective electrical maintenance on production equipment, troubleshoot motor and low voltage systems, and assist with installation and startup of electrical components.

The role requires reading schematics and following safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Eligible candidates must be 18+, able to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to read and understand basic electrical schematics and technical instructions.
• Basic troubleshooting skills with electrical systems and equipment.
• Previous experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), instrumentation, or automated systems.
• Experience using CMMS or SAP.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and industrial process drawings.
• Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, or other mobile equipment.
• Work history in the last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform job duties in a fast-paced, cold, or warm production setting with requiredPPE while engaging in physical tasks such as standing for long periods of time, climbing, bending, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Work overtime, weekends, and holidays as requested.
• Follow all safety, food safety, and regulatory policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
