Vylor, Inc. is seeking an Apprentice Electrician at our York, Nebraska location. The role focuses on electrical and mechanical installation and maintenance of plant equipment, ensuring safety, reliability, and operational excellence on-site.

You will learn to read schematics, support process control systems, and contribute to a safe and efficient facility. This entry-level position emphasizes hands-on training, compliance with OSHA/PSM, and teamwork in a 12-hour rotating shift environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Basic electrical theory and troubleshooting knowledge.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and production equipment.
• Maintain and service electrical and mechanical equipment (palletizers, conveyors, bagging equipment, HVAC, etc.).
• Learn PLC, HMI, and motor control concepts; perform RCA on faults.
• Complete reports and logs related to equipment and maintenance.
