Job summary

Vylor, Inc. in Constantine, Michigan, is seeking an Electrician to maintain and repair plant equipment, including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, and HVAC systems, to support production uptime.

You will perform scheduled inspections, review safety practices with program leaders, and ensure adherence to OSHA and PSM requirements while maintaining accurate equipment records. This on-site role requires a Journeyman license and ability to work overtime during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Journeyman Electrical License required.
• Ability to interpret the NEC.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to perform physical tasks including climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs., and working in various conditions.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends during seasonal peaks.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment including electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control devices, and HVAC for process and facility.
• Perform electrical repairs, service, troubleshooting and scheduled inspections of equipment.
• Review safety program with leaders to ensure adherence and compliance.
• Adhere to quality systems and safety procedures including OSHA and PSM.
• Make recommendations for safety improvements and equipment changes.
• Maintain detailed equipment records and prints.
